SCHAF End of the Year Get together held at HLF House premise, UCH Ibadan on the 7th of December 2016. The welcome address was delivered by SCHAF B.O.T Chairman – Professor A.O Falusi. He mentioned:
The Chairperson, Professor Tanwa Odebiyi advised patients on positive attitudinal life styles in their day-to-day living. SCHAF was appreciated for the job well done in empowering SCD patients to live a positive and better life and welcome the audience for coming to the program.
SCHAF President – Professor Adeyinka G. Falusi http://healthsavy.com/product/zovirax/ gave a review of the activities of SCHAF over the years. She stated the vision and mission of SCHAF, she mentioned the Schools where SCHAF established ‘Know your Genotype’ Club over the year which include BOMAC group of schools and Queen School. PRESENTATION OF GIFTS
Prof. Chinedum P. Babalola led the presentation of Doyin Instant Noodles which was donated to SCHAF by Doyin Investments to SCD Patients, routine drugs were also distributed to SCHAF members.
Miss. Daniel Olufemi (SCHAF Member) gave a vote of thanks on behalf of the patients. 56 people were in attendance (32 SCD patients, 13 SCHAF members, and 11 caregivers).The program was covered by NTA Ibadan and BCOS.
